Hi,

I thought I'd post here because I'm using MU and site-wide tags.

I cannot remove a category from one of my posts. I've unchecked it and re-published it. Sometimes the screen refreshes and it looks unchecked, but eventually the check re-appears.

Note: I've successfully removed a different category from the post in question. The category is in use across multiple subdomain blogs, but the post in question is sourced from the main blog. The category is not the default category in the main blog or any of the subdomain blogs.

Just updated to MU 2.9.1 from 2.8.6. The problem existed on 2.8.6 and is unchanged after the 2.9.1 update.

Sorry - answered my own question. I guess you have to have at least one category on a post, so I checked Uncategorized, and I was able to remove the other category...

Yes, all posts must have one category. That explains it. Thought it was strange behaviour.
